General terms and conditions for all STS external sales agents

PRODUCTION PRICE
The prices specified (net price) in the attachment are valid for the production package we offer sales agents. If groups have additional services not included in the production package STS offers will be invoiced to the sales agent. All these extra costs should be well specified by the agent and sent to STS in order to make the invoice procedures run smoothly.

 

 

Only written cancellation of groups can be accepted. 50% deposit of the total course fee is required 30 days prior to departure. Full payment must be received 14 days prior to group departure. If an individual passenger cancels, their course fee may be transferred to a replacement. No charges will apply if a replacement is found up to 7 days prior to departure (subject to availability of services). If a replacement cannot be found then 50% of the course fee is payable.

The agent is responsible for ensuring that all group participants carry adequate insurance to cover baggage, medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should anyone become too ill to continue the course. STS cannot be held responsible for any claims for damaged or lost bags, or for costs incurred because of student sickness. Any claims, concerning matters for which the group are insured must be directed to the insurers. Any damages within the host family must be agreed between the family and the student prior to departure from the course town.

 

If the agent is providing their own transport, students must arrive in the course town between the hours of 10:00 and 21:00. Any arrivals outside of these times may incur a further fee for taxi transfers from the meeting point in the course town to host families for both leaders and students.

 

Only nationality placements can only be completed if agreed at time of booking. If a student chooses to be only nationality after the initial booking is made STS cannot guarantee to meet this request.

 

All medical conditions, including allergies, must be specified at time of booking. STS endeavour to accept all students. However, in exceptional circumstances where we are unable to provide a suitable placement, STS reserve the right not to accept students. Certain medical conditions may incur an extra nightly charge. Please see the table at the bottom of this document for further information.

 

Special dietary requests will be subject to an additional nightly charge. A table listing these charges can be found at the bottom of this document. STS should be informed of these requests at the time of booking.

All students are required to conduct themselves appropriately. STS reserves the right to remove students from host families where persistent bad behaviour occurs. Any extra accommodation fees incurred due to this are the responsibility of the agent.
