How are the families selected?

STS makes great demands on their host families and our representative visits all families in the course town. Our representative interviews the family and checks the standards of their home. Most of our host families have had STS students for many years and many of our students stay in contact with their family years after their language course. Those students who return to the same course town often request to stay in the same host family since they enjoyed it so much.
