Safety in every aspect of our language course

To a great many people the language course is the first stay abroad without parents as travelling companions. It is a very exciting, fun-filled and rewarding time which will also be a great merit later in life.

A comfortable journey
The departure is an exciting moment! The first meeting with you new language course friends takes place at the airport, where it is also time to say goodbye to your family. Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by STS leaders, who will stay with you during the entire journey. This makes it feel safe for those of you who travel alone for the first time.

Safe accommodation
When you arrive in the course town you will be met by our local STS staff . Since your students receive information of their host family before they leave, they may already have established contact with them. STS staff will meet those who have chosen to stay at one of our nice Club STS facilities.

Efficient & tailor-made teaching
All teaching is done in small groups of 10-15 students in each group. We will help your students find a course that suits them best. During the first day of school your students will go through a diagnostic language test. Based upon their previous knowledge they will be placed in a group of students on the right level. The advantage of studying a language in the country where it is spoken is that the teachers may use this fact by giving work assignments like interviewing the host family, reading youth magazines, making field trips and such.

Active free time
The students free time is filled with activities and STS always arrange something fun after the lessons, such as an excursion, sunbathing, a tournament or shopping tour. In the evening your students can socialise and for instance go to the STS disco together. Some students will also spend many wonderful hours on the beach where they can swim and enjoy the sunshine and play beach games and fun activities. You will find that many students rate the visit to the metropolitan city as the highlight of the language course. Regardless of what course town you choose, you will visit a big city. In addition to the excursions and activities that are included in the price of the language course, you can also book further arrangements, from laser games and bannaboating to visits to cathedrals.
